FEMALE TEACHERS RESPONSIVENESS TO PRODUCTION AND UTILISATION OF IMPROVISED
AND READY MADE MEDIA IN SCHOOLS IN EKITI STATE

ABSTRACT
This study presented the analysis of data and discussion of findings with the review of relevant literature, pertinent to the investigation of the female teachers’ responsiveness to the production and utilisation of improvised and ready made media in schools in Ekiti State, using Ado Ekiti Local Government as case study. The raw data consisted of two hundred (200) case
and chi-square statistical analysis was utilized to analyse each of the hypothesis generated. Each hypothesis was tested at 0.05 alpha levels and a descriptive approach was employed
which allowed the study of events after it had taken place. Ten (10) secondary schools were randomly selected and relevant data and information were collected with the use of
questionnaire. To determine the validity of the instrument, it was trial-tested on the female teachers’ in Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria. The test-re-test method using Pearson Product Moment
Correlation (PPMC) formula was utilized to find out the reliability of the instrument. The correlation coefficient was 0.78 which was perfect and positive. Based on the findings relevant
recommendations were made that the Government should fund the production and utilisation
of instructional media.
